About Yayama
I am a fun and joyful person. I am a kind and caring person who always puts others before myself. I feel with those characteristics I make a great tutor. I am considerate and patient, which I think is an important trait to have as someone who educates.
I started tutoring when I was in grade 10, where I was tutoring for free just as other students needed help. That is when I discovered my passion for teaching and I am in hopes of continuing to do so!

My lessons are adaptable and tailored to my students' desire. I create environments where my students feel comfortable and can speak about topics they struggle in, if it's everything you don't understand then I am happy to go through it all. I teach mathematics, accounting, life science, geography and economics. All subjects I have completed in high school and continue to study at a university level. I mainly teach in English, although I do speak isiXhosa as my home language and I understand and can read Afrikaans and Sesotho, so a language barrier will not be a problem.
My lessons typically involve greetings and a check-in for the day, a review on what the student wants to focus on for the lesson, going through key concepts, teaching the topic and finally ending off with questions they may encounter in tests and exams.
