About the lesson

Through my experience, I have learned that every student absorbs information differently. As a tutor, it is my job to cater to the needs of the student. I usually ask my student to send me their class syllabus. I additionally ask for homework problems and lesson notes a day or a few hours prior to the session, so I can prepare accordingly. After students receive their tests back, we go over the questions they got wrong so they don't make the same mistake again.

About Emily

I am currently studying at UC Irvine for data science, dance, and biology. I have tutored students in geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and biology. In all cases, I have improved students' grades at least one letter. I was previously dance captain at my old dance academy, where I coached younger dancers ages 5-14 years old.

I normally charge $10-20 for elementary and middle schoolers, and $20-35 for high schoolers. My price is negotiable, and I charge by hour since some sessions run long or short.
