About Faith
Hi! I am a university student majoring in pharmaceutical research and development; I graduated with a 4.0 each year of HS; and I attended NEHS, Mu Alpha Theta, and NSHS. My previous job was babysitting 3 days a week overnight for two little boys, and I have helped raise 2 girls for the past 8 years who are homeschooled. Needless to say, I completely understand the feelings of frustration and hopelessness that can come from not understanding something, especially when it is expected of you by others. Because of this, I firmly believe that patience and consideration are a necessity when teaching.

I believe consideration and patience are key in tutoring. I remember what it is like struggling understanding certain concepts, and sometimes a little further clarification or extra care is required!
Perhaps your teacher is using the wrong method of teaching? Maybe your teacher is an auditory teacher but you're a visual learner? Maybe you have social anxiety or ADHD and struggle to focus in class at times? Maybe you fell behind and feel overwhelmed? Or perhaps you simply cannot grasp a certain concept. (I've been there too!) Whatever your reason for seeking out tutoring, my goal is to ensure that you leave our session with a much greater understanding than you came with.:)
I may also specialize in specific questions or concerns, under the assumption that students will be honest and not NOT use this service to cheat on work. After all, that defeats the purpose of tutoring. We want you to learn!
