About Olivia
Hi, my name is Olivia and I am tutoring psychology and media A-Level. I am a student at the University of Warwick and achieved A*A*A in my 3 A-levels: Politics, Psychology and Media. I am friendly, approachable and well organised. I thoroughly enjoyed A-level Psychology, particularly the social influence topic as I am fascinated by the study of people's behaviour.
I know how difficult and overwhelming the exam period can be with revision, university applications and other extracurriculars, having completed my A-Levels last year, but I feel like I have acquired lots of tips and revision techniques that I think could benefit students going through the same thing.
Whilst at university I have continued to immerse myself in psychology alongside my degree by listening to podcasts and reading articles. I am passionate about the subject I teach and helping others feel comfortable going into their exams. I would like to help you achieve the best result you can and am very passionate about creating a positive environment for you to learn.

I will begin with an example exam question for that topic, for example, 'Discuss the multi-store memory model' and from there base the lesson around this question. We would go over the A01 and A03 points. The lesson would then end with active recall of key elements, whether this is exam questions, a quiz or practising writing an example paragraph.
I prioritised making essay plans for every possible exam question that could come up. I would recommend this as it means you are prepared for any question that may appear in your exam.
