About Daniel
Hi! I’m Mr. Williams, a lifelong Vermonter and dedicated educator with a passion for helping students succeed in math and science. I currently work at a rural high school in northern Vermont as a math interventionist, where I support students in building confidence and mastering foundational skills.
I'm also pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Secondary Science Education with a specialization in Chemistry through WGU, which strengthens my ability to make scientific concepts both clear and engaging. My approach is grounded in patience, curiosity, and real-world connections because learning should feel relevant and empowering.
Whether you're struggling with equations or diving into chemical reactions, I’ll meet you where you are and help you grow, step by step. I bring both structure and warmth to every session, creating a safe space to ask questions, make mistakes, and gain mastery.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy time with my wife, our dog Loki, and our three cats: Rufus, Kylo (a.k.a. Chonk), and Marcel. I believe in the power of consistency, kindness, and clear communication and I’m here to help you reach your goals with confidence.
Let’s learn together!

Hey there! I'm Mr. Williams , a passionate educator and lifelong learner currently working on my B.S. in Secondary Science Education with a specialization in Chemistry at WGU (Western Governors University). My Teaching Approach
Learning should be engaging, empowering, and a little bit magical. I use a student-centered, inquiry-based approach that blends real-world applications with academic rigor. Whether you're tackling chemical reactions or algebraic expressions, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you build confidence and mastery step by step.
I adapt lessons to your learning style visual, hands-on, auditory, or a mix.
I ask guiding questions to build problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
I use analogies from cooking, nature, or pop culture to make complex ideas stick.
Every session includes interactive elements, like practice problems, mini demos, or collaborative tools (digital whiteboards, quizzes, simulations)
A Typical Lesson Plan
1. Check-in & Recap (5 min) – What’s been going well? Where are you stuck?
2. Core Concept Focus (20–25 min) – We'll explore today's topic using examples and interactive explanations.
3. Practice & Application (20 min) – Targeted exercises with support and live feedback.
4. Review & Plan (5–10 min) – Quick summary, address questions, and set goals for next time.
I always bring structure and flexibility. Lessons are tailored to your class, goals, and current assignments.
