About Yihua

I was born into a family of educators, which made me yearn for the teaching profession from a young age. Since I was a child, I have enjoyed all kinds of teaching (though not professional), and I really enjoy the sense of achievement that teaching brings. Since primary school, my Chinese grades have been excellent. I am best at reading and writing. Meanwhile, my Mandarin pronunciation is very standard, and as a result, I have held many hosting and broadcasting positions. As a student majoring in education, I am very clear about how to utilize the high impact teaching strategy to help students learn better. At the same time, my sense of responsibility and perfectionism will also ensure that every class is truly effective for students. I hope we can learn and grow together during the process!

About the lesson

I advocate personalized teaching. Before class, I will carefully prepare the teaching content and activities, and carry out teaching based on the teaching materials and students' conditions. I am good at using methods such as situational dialogues and example problem explanations to help students build confidence in learning Chinese and improve their grades rapidly. As a learner of VCE Chinese, I have extensive learning and examination experience, which is helpful for students to understand VCE Chinese. I once interned as an intern teacher at a middle school in Melbourne and have some professional teaching experience. I myself am very patient and passionate about teaching, and I will treat every student seriously.
My courses usually last for one hour. As I am a full-time student, I prefer flexible online classes. If there is spare time after class, one can accept offline teaching.
