About Jane

I am a middle school Pre-Algebra teacher in Oklahoma City. I am certified to teach Intermediate Mathematics (to the level of Algebra) and Secondary Biological Sciences. I have experience as a student and teacher on Zoom and Google Meet. I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biopsychology with a minor in Business Administration earlier this spring. I have experience as a research assistant to a Clinical Child Psychologist; from this, I gained experience in child development and learning, as well as a new understanding for statistics in the sciences.

About the lesson

My teaching method is to positively reinforce every "aha" moment I can initiate for students while teaching on a subject I love. Education should be liberatory- I believe that my role as a teacher is to prompt and foster student autonomy. By sharing knowledge and sharing passion, I can teach someone else a skill or concept that has so enlightened me.

Details

I'd like $11 for all levels of students. If sessions are cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment I will charge 60% of the session fee. With more than 24 hours cancellation, there's no cancellation fee.
