About Sarah
I have always enjoyed maths right from when I was a child and saw it as a game where I had to analyze concepts to come up with ways to solve a problem.
This has made me to always see maths as a practical subject. This built my analytical and problem solving skills. This also stirred up in me a sense of curiosity to initiate concepts. So when I teach I want to reflect this in my lessons, so students don't just see maths as a subject to pass but rather as a subject that is part of their everyday life which enables them to problem solve.

I believe in teaching concepts as opposed to formulas. And I strongly advocate for looking out for learning gaps and fixing them before moving on, as maths is a problem solving subject where one concept serves a a building block for the next concept and a loop in between makes the structure shaky.
