About Alice
Being a current teacher with A level and GCSE classes, I have a wealth of school experience with proven results. I have been teaching physics, chemistry and biology secondary school students (11 to 18 years old) as a classroom teacher for more than 20 years with the last 17 years at my current inner school in London. I therefore have extensive knowledge and teaching experience with all aspects of secondary science and my speciality is physics. I have been teaching A level physic for the last seventeen years with students securing offers to Oxbridge, the Russell group and American university. I can help with anything to do with GCSE all examination boards and A level physics AQA. I can also help with mathematics up to GCSE. I just love teaching. I believe every child can do better given the required support

I can explain topics in many different ways, therefore I can adapt my teaching to the students’ preferred learning style. In addition, I use variety of questioning styles to ensure that the student fully understands. I am equipped with a variety of engaging, teaching strategies, to bring even the most abstract concepts of science to real life. I focus on depth of understanding and developing students problem solving skills so that students can apply their knowledge to any exam question!
I like to familiarise students with the types of question they will experience in the exam. Therefore, my lessons usually build up to an exam-style question. This builds confidence and is just one of my unique, proven ways to achieving success and conveying my enthusiasm for these subject areas.
As your tutor I will address all of your science needs to the best of my ability, ensuring you'll be able to reach your goals with me in the shortest amount of time possible.
My teaching and effort invested in planning the classes to your specific needs ensure your tangible progress. I am patient, understanding, considerate and supportive. I know where to encourage you more and where to let you absorb the knowledge at your own pace. You can be sure that with me you'll easily gain confidence and achieve your goal.
The lessons are paid with minimum of 4 lessons in one small pack. Since I am very results driven I need to schedule my classes in advance in order to organise the teaching-learning process efficiently and track students’ progress. For your results to be noticeable and significant, I recommend you have at least weekly lesson and complete the follow up work after the lesson. The duration of the one lesson will be one hour. Multiple hours can be done during one lesson upon request.
The rate for one hour is £50.
