About Charny
"Self-taught habits defined my 13 years of playing bluegrass and old-time festivals. I understand the nuances of the fiddle deeply.
My teaching style is neurodivergent-affirming and rooted in the oral tradition. This approach helps adult professionals and self-taught players find genuine structure. I have spent 10 years playing across the American South.
My background includes classical repertoire and music theory. I use custom scale and etude sheets for each student. These tools help bridge the gap between intuition and technique.
Music is a lifelong companion for me. I hope to share that joy with you."
