About Julia
I'm a pretty laid back person! My goal is to help as much as I can and then some. I've been practicing art for as long as I've been able to hold a pencil and I've had a love for learning more about it since I discovered that I could. It's my belief that Art is fluid - it's meaning, the styles, and intentions are as ever-changing as the artist behind it and, because of this, I believe that in order to have a good experience with art, you need to have access to a fluid way of learning it. So no super rigid, intimidating art teachers here! Just someone who loves art and wants to share that with you.

I can teach and show examples in real time or explain them as thoroughly as needed, and if required, I will do additional research and formulate learning plans off the clock to adjust to individual requirements and goals. We'll start off with your experience level and where you're at, what your goal is, and what you need help with or what you WANT help with. My aim is to teach mostly middle and highschool students, but I am welcome to college freshmen as well. This can be for casual hobbyists or students just wanting a little extra help. I can assist in Acrylic painting techniques, charcoal, traditional drawing (pencil and paper), and art history.
