About Byron
As a math teacher, I excel in analyzing and relying on patterns. My math students (three years experience, around 300 students) and Arabic students (one year experience, about 10 students) take away the ability to use patterns to make new discoveries on their own.
My teaching style focuses on long-term ability and vocabulary expansion. I have also conducted, however, several sessions that focus on specific assignments and assessments, and the thrill of having a student pass a test that I tutored them for is a unique kind of reward!

As a native English speaker who learned Arabic through several methods (college level courses, conversation partners, Rosetta Stone, and so many online resources), my instructional focus is to teach you how to teach yourself.
A typical lesson will include a recap of what we did last time, a discussion of what you have done independently since then, and then an exploration of content that I will select and bring to each session.
My students frequently point out that I ask a lot of questions, and that I prefer not to give direct answers - I will constantly push you to improve, rather than let you get comfortable at your current level of proficiency!
