About Madelyn
I am a self-taught artist with a degree. Like any artist, I was conflicted on my path and ended up with a degree in something I don’t love. I learned all the fundamentals as a child and continued to collect all the different techniques that I could. I am still learning, just like my students. Every good teacher should be able to learn as well.

I always begin with an assessment of your individual strengths and work our way from there. We always start with the fundamentals, because you cannot be great without a strong foundation. Each student will have the opportunity to help determine where they would like to go with their talents, as I help guide them onhow to reach their end goal.

Madelyn has been drawing since she could hold a pencil! Because she has been drawing for so long, she is able to make it easy to understand and knows numerous techniques to make learning easy and exciting. Having children of her own, she is excellent with kids and is a wonderful teacher to them. She is also great with adults. I absolutely recommend Madelyn as a drawing teacher!
