About Mpho
Although I am a self taught dancer, I still believe wholeheartedly that I can help quite a few people when it comes to dance. For me dancing has helped me become not only a better and disciplined young woman, it has also helped me mentally. Yes, there are some days when all doesn't go well or life seems hard, so I would like to make dance that life jacket that saves someone else from drowning.

I work along with my students when it comes to learning as well as performing a dance. I don't push my students to doing moves that are too advanced, but I do encourage them to try as well as help them in getting the move right. My best work is in contemporary and lyrical/expressive dancing and I believe that the best way for one to truly dance with emotion is to not be afraid of being vulnerable. A typical lesson with me starts with a good stretch and warm up, followed by the planned lesson and lastly we cool down in order to avoid sore muscles and cramps going forward. My lessons are aimed at students who are new at dance as well as those who use dance as an escape mechanism or a booster of their self-esteem. I also help those who are getting ready for auditions or performances.
