About Beverly
Spending 13 years on stage has taught me to hear every detail that can make or break a performance. Have you ever wondered what keeps a set together when the lights go down? My years of gigging around Nashville and Austin have given me plenty of real-world answers.
I have worked with many students to refine their playing, build stronger technique, and develop confidence for live performance. My lessons focus on practical skills that you can immediately apply to your own music and playing style.
Whether you are preparing for your first open mic or simply want to sharpen your playing, I enjoy helping students become more comfortable with their instrument. And when the lesson is over, we can always catch up over a coffee-house tune.

Turning song requests into simplified arrangements is one of my favorite ways to create a smooth performance flow for any venue. I enjoy helping guitarists transform songs into arrangements that feel natural, playable, and ready for the stage.
With 13 years of practical experience, I help students develop skills across songwriting, sheet music reading, electric guitar technique, blues progressions, acoustic technique, and rhythm guitar. Lessons are structured around practical playing so you can apply what you learn immediately.
For students interested in hired-gig work, we focus on the skills that hold up under the pressure of a live performance. Building your future setlist starts with these fundamentals, and I am here to help you develop the confidence and versatility to perform them well.
