About Natalie
Every lesson is designed to make the instrument an extension of your own musical thoughts. Music theory is the hidden structure beneath every song you enjoy. I guide you through soloing and rhythm with the same methods I used to hone my own craft over 16 years.
We will look at specific electric and acoustic techniques that define the Latin and blues genres. Younger students and self-taught players deserve a clear path forward without unnecessary noise. Intermediate learners and kids often feel a specific frustration when hitting a plateau in their playing. You might be struggling to bridge the gap between simple chords and complex, professional-sounding performance. My own path as a self-taught guitarist allows me to anticipate those common roadblocks you encounter daily. I bring 16 years of gigging experience across Tex-Mex and Latin pop to help you gain structural understanding.
We focus on electric technique, acoustic technique, and the essential music theory that makes sense of the fretboard. Having mentored 159 students, I know how to break down difficult blues progressions into manageable steps. Strumming patterns and improvisation become second nature when you approach them with clear logic. I keep the work focused on your personal progress through every session.
