About Monica
"String vibration against the bridge of my guitar has been my primary comfort since age 5. Currently, I hold a Bachelor of Music in Industry from Belmont University.
I spent 6 years gigging in rock and blues outfits across the West Coast. These experiences defined my approach to the instrument. I enjoy helping returning learners and intermediate players break out of pentatonic jail.
Helping students find their unique sound is my favorite part of the week. Instruction transitioned from a side gig into my main priority 13 years ago. I am a gear and tone fanatic who ensures your amp is dialed in perfectly. I am ready to work."

"How does your current fretboard knowledge stack up against the sounds you hear in your head? Creating a custom roadmap is the first step I take with every student.
We start by fixing technical gaps like barre chords or lead guitar phrasing. Power chords and scales get practical focus through ear training and modal theory. Reading tabs becomes natural once we apply these concepts to actual improvisation.
You receive a monthly recorded review of your progress to track growth. My 13 years of gigging inform how we approach rhythm and melody. This structure helps you build a solid foundation. Just bring your gear and a willingness to play."
