About Lori
"Having spent 13 years gigging across Nashville and Austin, have you ever wondered how to play like a working songwriter? My foundation is entirely self-taught through long nights in dark clubs.
I cover everything from electric technique and complex music theory to power chords, scales, and modes. I also handle tuning, maintenance, barre chords, and acoustic technique with ease. Beyond the mechanics, I focus on chord transitions, lead guitar, and ear training to ensure you hear what you play. Honestly, I still find rhythm practice to be the best way to keep my own hands sharp."

"Sometimes I forget that not everyone naturally hears how a guitar part fits a vocal melody. I start by performing a diagnostic skills check to build your custom lesson plan.
We then map out your songs or classics using my gear. I bring my guitar and portable amp directly to your house. You learn to balance singing and playing simultaneously.
This is how you will actually perform. It works best when we bridge the gap between technical drills and real musical expression. I look forward to helping you find your own voice through these twelve strings."
