About Cherie
"Open-mic regulars often find that raw energy matters more than formal theory. You might expect a conservatory graduate but I rely on real stages. My 13 years spent gigging in Nashville and Austin taught me how to handle the lights.
I have spent my career focusing on power chords, fingerpicking, grade exam prep, reading sheet music, chord transitions, strumming patterns, scales and modes, barre chords, electric technique, and music theory. I work with performers who want to play at local weddings. Helping you build a reliable repertoire is my main goal."

"Strings buzzing during a quiet bridge ruins the whole mood of a performance. You step up to the mic and realize your chord transition is not quite ready for the crowd.
I teach you how to maintain control while under pressure. We fix your technique so you can focus on the music.
