About Jack
I’m a gigging musician and self-taught violinist based in Tunbridge Wells. Playing the violin can stop people dead and makes them feel things they can’t put into words, and I want this world to have more of it. More people expressing themselves, living at their edge, taking on a real challenge and letting it shape them. The violin is a difficult journey, but it has the power to transform your life and shape you as a person, teaching you patience, determination and perseverance in a way few things can. Helping someone discover that is something I find genuinely exciting.

Violin is one of the most rewarding instruments you can pick up at any age, and my job is to prove that to you. I started late, taught myself entirely, and worked my way up to performing at live music venues. I know exactly what it takes to go from zero to performance level, and I’ll show you the most direct path to get there. My lessons are disciplined but built around music you actually care about, and I draw on my professional background in technology to bring a smarter, more structured approach to tracking progress and making every practice session count. The real skill I’m here to give you is knowing how to practise effectively, because that’s what separates people who plateau from people who actually get good.
