About Alex

Firstly I like to get to know you. With this I can find out how you learn, what captures your attention, and what you’re struggling with so I can best tailor the experience to you.

Once that is done, I’ll begin to tailor my work and resources so it’s something that you’re not only interested in, but something that should work for you.

I’m a big believer that Practice makes Progress. My sessions will help build and work on your skills.

About the lesson

I’ve been passionate about going into education since I was 13 because there weren’t many qualified Music Cover teachers. I wanted to go into Music Education but the Alternate Learning Needs world seemed to call my name.

Since moving to Wales I have spent my time working with a wide variety of students who need support with social, emotional, and behavioural needs and have truly fallen in love with this career. Before that I worked similar roles in Canada for six years, and enjoyed it just as much. Because of this experience I'm confident in my ability to differentiate material and provide you with the best support possible.
