About Jessica

For 8 years, I have been working as a civil litigator in various areas of law, each with their own unique work environment.

I have served as a trial attorney for the NYC government, specifically the Department of Buildings, and I have experience working in several litigation concentrations, such as matrimonial (mostly divorces), contract disputes, workers' compensation, and personal injury.

My wide range of experience and natural exposure helps me to serve as an effective mentor to everyone I tutor.

About the lesson

Law is so much more than memorizing elements of legal theories and preparing for the bar exam. To excel as an attorney, especially as a litigator, you need to understand the "why" behind the laws that rule our world.

My teaching style is focused on ensuring you are able to conceptualize the legal concepts that we tackle together.
