About Katy

I am a senior finance and commercial leader with more than a decade of professional experience in a major UK organisation.

My experience spans SAP, credit management, accounts receivable, contracts, claims, reporting, commercial risk, stakeholder management and team leadership. I currently work in a senior role covering contracts, claims and credit management within UK finance operations.

Throughout my career, I have supported colleagues and teams in understanding complex processes, resolving commercial issues and translating detailed information into clear, practical actions. I regularly work across departmental boundaries and understand how finance, customer, operational and commercial decisions affect one another.

I am also studying towards a CIMA professional qualification, developing my existing practical experience through further study in management accounting, business performance and commercial decision-making.

My teaching approach reflects how I lead professionally: expectations are clear, explanations are structured and questions are welcomed. I aim to help learners understand both the steps involved in a process and the commercial reasoning behind them.

I recognise that adults learn and process information differently. Lessons can therefore include clearer structure, written summaries, repeated explanations, additional processing time and practical examples where these are helpful.

I offer online lessons for adults and working professionals who want relevant, practical support rather than generic software theory.

About the lesson

I provide practical one-to-one SAP support for adults and working professionals who want to become more confident using SAP within finance, credit, accounts receivable, contracts, claims and reporting processes.

Sessions are individually tailored around your role, current experience and the tasks you need to understand. You may be new to SAP, moving into a finance or commercial role, returning to the system after time away, or already completing routine tasks but wanting to understand the wider process more clearly.

Lessons can include:

• Navigating SAP more confidently and efficiently
• Understanding credit management and accounts receivable workflows
• Following contracts and claims-related processes
• Interpreting reports and investigating discrepancies
• Understanding how finance and commercial activities connect across departments
• Approaching unfamiliar tasks logically rather than relying only on memorised instructions
• Building confidence when explaining information to colleagues, managers and stakeholders

A typical session begins by identifying the process or difficulty you want to address. We then break it into clear stages, explore the purpose behind each step and work through realistic, non-confidential examples. The session concludes with a summary of what you have learnt and practical actions you can apply after the lesson.

My approach is structured, calm and commercially grounded. I focus on helping you understand why a process works, not simply giving you a list of instructions to memorise.

Lessons are suitable for adult learners and professionals at beginner or intermediate level, including people working in credit control, accounts receivable, finance, contracts, claims, customer operations and commercial teams.

Sessions focus on SAP end-user knowledge, workplace processes and professional confidence. They do not provide SAP certification, access to proprietary systems, technical configuration training or employer-confidential information.

The free 30-minute introductory session is used to understand your role, current SAP experience and learning objectives. We will identify the processes you need help with and agree a clear plan for any paid lessons. The introductory session is a needs assessment and does not include access to systems or a complete SAP training lesson.
