About the lesson

Everyone learns at their own pace, and in their own style. I don't believe in using a rigid learning structure when trying to teach something as rich and complex as programming. Happy to accommodate lessons of any length, from 30 minutes, up to a couple of hours if you're getting really into it!

No age limit! Whether you're at school and considering a career in software engineering or development, or you want to create games as a hobby, or even if you're an adult and looking to try something new, it's never too early (or too late!) to dive into the amazing world of programming

What I can offer:
- Flexible one-on-one lessons structured around your learning needs, pace and time-frame. Lessons can be one-off, regular or as you require them.
- We can work to identify your goals, understand where you're encountering problems and get to fixing these as well as providing a solid basis for the fundamentals as we go along
- We can have sessions that are purely for problem solving/code reviewing or we can create a short or long-term learning plan tailored for you
- Tutoring and assistance with specific assignments and exam preparation (recently I've been assisting with several Open Polytechnic courses and WinForms assignments!)
- Mentorship and long-term support if you'd like it (for example; getting you job ready, coaching or helping you through the industry, being available for questions any time, preparation for job interviews)
- My experience as a Senior Developer as well as a teacher means I can provide useful and practical knowledge to industry standards, allowing you to succeed.
