About Dalaiza

I graduated high school with a 3.9 GPA. I am currently majoring in Accounting at Texas A&M International University.

I can help students learn in ways which I successfully learned throughout high school and college. I can relate to their struggles and confusions, which allows me to help them understand the topic in a different way. I have many study tips and strageties to pass along that worked for me.

I was a Tutor in the Write House from 10th to 11th grade, where I helped revise and edit my peers essays. I also took several Pre-AP and AP classes in high school and earned A's.

During the summers throughout high school, I took a STEM courses including Geometry, Trigonometry, and Algebra Courses. As well as a Pre-Calculus Course at the University of Texas at San Antonio and received an A.

What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping others. I love that I can help a student finally understand the math problem that they have been trying to solve for weeks. I get satisfaction from contributing to the success of students. I love to see them finally get their first A on a math test.

About the lesson

First I will discuss with my student and set the ultimate goals my student wants to achieve with the tutoring sessions. I will create clear objectives describing the specific knowledge and ability your student would have acquired after the tutoring sessions. I will provide them with the materials like reading, homework, notes they will need for the lessons as well as a list of other materials they might need. I will then briefly introduce what your student will be learning throughout the sessions. Then I will also explain how the sessions will help the student meet their goals.
