About Sam
Hi, I’m Sam. I’ve always enjoyed understanding how things work, which led me into metallurgy and engineering. I like math and science because they are not just subjects to memorize — they are tools for solving real problems.
My teaching style is relaxed, patient, and practical. I enjoy helping people who feel stuck by breaking things down into smaller steps and explaining ideas in plain language. I have also mentored graduates at work, so I’m used to helping people build confidence while learning technical topics.
Outside of work, I enjoy training at the gym, playing badminton, and learning new things. I’m looking to tutor math, science, and metallurgy for students who want clear explanations and a supportive learning style.

My tutoring style is patient, practical, and focused on helping students build real understanding rather than simply memorizing formulas. I break difficult concepts into simple steps, use worked examples, and adjust my teaching style depending on the student’s confidence, pace, and goals. I can tutor mathematics, science, and metallurgy, drawing on my engineering and metallurgy background to connect theory with real-world applications.
A typical lesson would run for around 60 minutes, depending on the student’s needs. I also have experience mentoring graduates in a professional setting, helping them develop technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and confidence. My lessons are suitable for high school students, university students, graduates, or anyone wanting support with math, science, or metallurgy-related subjects.
