About Zakaria

I obtained a Master in Mindfulness (Clinical Practices for Psychophysical Wellbeing) at the Lombardy Psychologists Association. I have a degree in Psychology and Communication from the University of Milan-Bicocca, where I am currently graduating in Psychology of Social Processes, Decision-Making and Economic Behavior. I am a martial artist and in my life I have done various jobs in many different fields (qualitative research and market research, support for students with disabilities, bookseller, dialogist, writer, etc.). Positivity and humanity are the fundamental values from which I try to draw inspiration for all the activities I perform. Through Mindfulness meditation for example I propose to spread around me awareness, openness, serenity and non-judgmental attitude towards experience. In this my vision I support myself with my skills and knowledge of Psychology, a discipline towards which I have a deep passion and in which I intend to continue training for many years.

I propose individual Mindfulness meditation sessions aimed at all age groups. These practices are based on breath management and the development of psychophysical awareness. It is a question of stimulating an attitude of mindlessness that is non-judgmental and open to oneself and to one's own experiences, aiming also at the development of an awareness that embraces the mind and body in their unity. Mindfulness meditation practices are extremely effective in achieving different goals. For example, you can aim at managing your own emotions, as in the case of anxiety management and other emotions. It is extremely suitable also for those who are simply looking for deep and effective relaxation against daily stress. It is also highly recommended for those who want to develop their psychophysical wellbeing in general, obtaining great benefits in terms of improving energy circulation, the relationship with their body and cognitive mental performance. This last example shows how Mindfulness meditation is also very useful for those trying to improve their cognitive performance in activities of various kinds, both for study and work. The structuring of the sessions and the way in which the procedures are carried out will be tailored to each person and their specific needs. The ideal for the internalization of practices is the development of the path in various sessions, so that in the end the person can succeed in bringing Mindfulness into his everyday life satisfactorily even without the presence of the Instructor. My proposal for an average meditation session is about 45 minutes or an hour. In this period of time I will offer conceptual explanations aimed at the optimal understanding of Mindfulness and finally I will accompany the person with the voice in the actual meditation practice. Each practice will be followed by a discussion, an exchange between me and the person in order to understand his experiences and direct the practice even more effectively. The dates and the place where the sessions will be held will be arranged together so that they come together in the best possible way.
