About Rachel
My name is Rachel. I have been in an online school for 6 years now, I am a senior in high school, and I have been known to have quite good grades. My freshman year I took all honors courses and ended the year with straight A's. Although none of my pieces have been released to the public, I have written two novels and I'm working on a third right now. I have quite a bit of experience dealing with strict or even rude teachers, and I have a few tips to share depending on the specific situation. I have a lot of patients for students struggling with writing dilemmas, and I tend to be quite good at helping make ideas for stories.

Being a student myself, there are a few things that set me aside from your typical tutor.
- I understand the frustration of writing a piece with many guidelines for a school project/assignment.
- I can relate with many students, especially middle and high school students, and I'm willing not only to help tutor writing but be there for the students to talk to about strict or rude teachers, and how to deal with them.
- Not only have I written many essays in my academic studies, but I am also a creative writer myself, and I've written many personal pieces.
A few things about my tutoring sessions.
- Students can come to my house for tutoring, or I can show up at there homes for personal at home tutoring as long as it is in Yuba city.
- Prices are very flexible, depending on the length of the piece/pieces I'm helping, the amount of help the student needs, how difficult or easy it is for me to work with the students, and the amount of time it takes me. but a typical standard pricing for me is $20 an hour per student, the more students the less it costs. for example, one student may be $20 an hour, but two students may not be $40 it may be $30-35.
- I have a very flexible schedule, but after school tutoring or weekend tutoring is preferred.
- Age of the student also helps decide pricing, younger students who are easier to work with may cost less, the minimum hourly pay I ask is $15
- I also have experience tutoring special needs students, students with ADHD, ADD, anger issues, or OCD are no problem for me.
