About Chris
Hi! My name is Chris and I'm currently a senior at Regis High School. I love math, but I also love to dabble in the humanities. At Regis, I'm a member of the math club and regularly compete in local and national math competitions. I was also selected at the beginning of my freshman year for the advanced mathematics track at Regis (I'm currently taking advanced calculus/multivariable calculus). Besides my math related commitments, I also love to read and write in my free time. I'm the chief editor of our school's newspaper. I'm a real person who enjoys having fun too! I'm on the varsity basketball team and I also love to sing, watch movies, and hang out with my friends in my free time. Growing up, I've always had this preconceived notion that tutors were mean and scary. I promise you I'm different!

Math has always been an academic interest I have been passionate about. Ever since I was young, numbers and the way they worked fascinated me. I'm excited about the opportunity to my share my love for this subject with others. Throughout my four years of high school, I have had plentiful experience with tutoring. I tutor older adults, who need assistance with technology, almost every Saturday morning. Additionally, I have been a virtual math, science, and English teacher for elementary and middle school students for the past two years. Based on my experience and knowledge, I look forward to tutoring elementary and middle school students with math. I am confident in my knowledge in elementary math, pre-algebra, algebra 1, and algebra 2. I focus on what my client does not know and force them to confront their academic weaknesses. Math is a very technical and specific subject– math builds upon itself. Therefore, it is crucial one has a strong understanding of elementary math concepts. I look forward to helping my clients achieve that goal.
