About Tomris
I am Senior Research Fellow in Chemistry who throughout all their studies and research in academia has complimented it with tuition, consulting and supervision of students. I am passionate about disseminating learning and education to as broad a audience as possible.
Due to struggles I had in my own education at certain times I relied heavily on support of good teachers and academic mentors who guided me through the academic and career journey I have taken. I know I am not the only one who had these problems and want to be a support not in a teaching materials context but also in a mentoring and educating context about best practice, techniques to increase motivation and get the most out of learning.

I deliver my sessions with a personalised approach.
Where the best way the student learns is addressed first followed by theoretical understanding through foundational understanding rather than reciting and memory requirements of theorys.
Sessions are broken down into three parts, review, body of lesson and plenary q and a session. A post session multimedia item of interest related to session key area is given alongside a work sheet or work book page number for specific exam types which will be review at start of next session.
