About Sarah
I’m a senior software developer with over 13 years of professional experience, specialising in Moodle development and PHP. I’ve always enjoyed solving technical problems and, just as importantly, explaining how I’ve solved them and helping other people understand what’s happening.
I want to teach because I know how valuable it is to have someone who can explain a difficult concept in plain English, particularly when tutorials and documentation leave you stuck. I enjoy helping people gain the confidence to understand and solve problems for themselves, and I’d like to share the practical knowledge I’ve gained from working on real-world software projects.
I have 2 years experience teaching as an Associate Lecturer on a Web Design module at a UK University, and I am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
