I'm passionate about teaching people who think they're not smart enough to be good at programming or who are struggling to keep up with their class, because I've seen people like them become some of the best software engineers I know once they found a learning approach that suited them.

Whether you're an absolute beginner or want to extend your existing skills, I'm here to help you achieve your learning goals.
I'm currently working as a senior software engineer in the industry, and I've tutored high school students intermittently for 9 years. I can either provide learning content, or help with classwork and assignments. I'm currently taking high school aged and adult students, but if any parents of primary school kids are interested, please reach out!
Lessons are an hour and a half long, plus a ten minute break. All homework and prep work is optional. We'll start with identifying your goals, and come up with a plan that suits you. My typical approach focuses on teaching the often neglected theoretical underpinnings of how programming works by completing fun mini-challenges together.
