Jamie and I study jazz at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire together, and he’s an incredibly talented guitar player and improviser. He’s already quite a successful guitar teacher with a handful of regular 1-1 students, which is very impressive as a full time student, and I can see why - not only is he an amazing player, but his experience, music knowledge, and character really tie it all together. Jamie is such a down to earth, genuine, soft spoken guy, and it really does come through in his teaching. Jamie is an incredible guitarist and such a patient and inspiring teacher. His knowledge of musical theory, Jazz, Soul, and other music genres is vast - lessons aren't just about learning pieces on a practical level but also understanding the theory and learning techniques to become a better guitarist.
