About Dewi
Having owned, run and sold businesses since I was 17 I quickly found myself as youth ambassador for young entrepreneurs in Wales. I am a huge believer in practical enterprise education! I despise how society portrays entrepreneurs as sort of mystical gurus. Most of the 1000 or so entrepreneurs I have worked with are just people and most wouldn't even consider themselves 'business people'. The truth is being good at business is actually really easy if you know what you're good at and you believe in yourself. My role as tutor and mentor is to help you learn the basics so that you can exploit your own ideas and knowledge! We'll also be getting it down onto paper and learning how to explain it to everyone else in way they understand and want to see it. Whether that be a GCSE enterprise project, thinking of a kickass idea for your master, navigating the exploitation of IP in your PHD or preparing a business proposal for a Tier 1 UK visa application.

Business can and should be a great subject but sadly lt is littered with so many untruthes!! from horrid dragons den to dusty old images of bankers waving business plans around or billionaire teens from silicone valley. But is that what business really looks like ?? I mean what if you just want to teach football on a saturday? make pots or open a coffee bike business selling ethically grown coffee in you greenhouse ? The truth is business is as much about you as it about marketing and numbers. This small thought has lead me across the Europe teaching students from around the world and working with some of the leading enterprise educators on the planet.
In my sessions you'll not just learn about business but also develop your understanding of its relevance to you and how you can harness some of these basic skills to help realise your ideas 0 whether that be for yourself or working for someone else.
Sessions are typically 1 hour long and catered towards you and your desired outcomes whether that be grades or business success!
I have been a business owner since 17 and a business advisor at university level for over 8 years. I support students, young people and graduates. Perhaps you need help thinking of a kickass idea for your school enterprise project, need help refrencing your masters or building funding proposal to exploit IP in your PHD - there isnt much I haven't seen.
