As a senior in high school, I can relate to the pressures that come with challenging coursework. With experience in 5 Honors courses and 15+ AP classes, I've gained valuable insights into problem-solving, time management, and study skills that I'm excited to share with my tutees. I've also honed my teaching abilities through tutoring for over 50 hours. In my view, practicing repeatedly is the key to success in STEM courses! When tutoring, I start by going over a lesson with my student, pinpointing the areas where they require the most assistance, and then supplementing my explanations with practice as needed. This approach is flexible as each student has different preferences in terms of how much instruction versus practice they require. I always welcome recommendations from my students on how I can tailor their tutoring sessions to suit their individual needs. As a tutor with over 50 hours of experience in teaching chemistry, biology, physics, math, and other subjects, my aim is to help students achieve their full potential and build confidence in the classroom both now and in the future. I offer lessons that cater to middle and high school students studying science and math, including topics up to AP-level courses.
