About Sinem
Sinem Er is a London based yoga teacher. She is teaching yoga since 2009. As a Yoga Alliance USA certified E-RYT 500 senior teacher and teacher trainer, she has trained hundreds of teachers and led foundational and continuing education programs since 2014.
Deeply influenced by her root teacher, Cyndi Lee, Sinem embraces the integration of yoga and Buddhism, which has shaped her teaching approach. Her classes are alignment based, inclusive, and fun, all grounded in mindfulness and compassion.
She has been featured among many other world-renowned yoga teachers in Linda Sparrowe’s book ‘Yoga At Home – Inspiration for creating your own home practice’ published by Universe Press.
Sinem Er (ERYT-500, YACEP // YA ID: 147459) holds the highest designation possible from Yoga Alliance - the international governing body for yoga teachers - which is based on having completed extended periods of advanced level training and more than 7000 hours of teaching experience. This level of experience means she is also a registered provider of further education to other yoga teachers.
Sinem has trained to an advanced level in vinyasa flow with Cyndi Lee, who is the first western female yoga teacher to integrate yoga and buddhism and is one of the most influential teachers in the modern yoga world. She has also completed more focused trainings in areas such as yin yoga, restorative yoga and pregnancy yoga.
Sinem takes a mindful and compassionate approach to yoga. Expect clear instructions and a smart and safe approach to postures that might initially seem complicated. You will also learn to understand and work with the needs of your own body to help you get the most out of each class.

MY APPROACH AND WHAT I OFFER
My classes in general are an invitation to practice focusing on the breath, the body, and the mind, noticing everything that happens along the way, to move, to let go, and most of all, to make friends with it all. And have fun! As yoga is an opportunity to lighten your load – to relax, play, fortify and restore yourself.
Beginner's Yoga
New to yoga? Beginner's yoga classes are the perfect place to start. I guide you through the basics and help you build a strong foundation for your practice and have a firm understanding of asana alignment, breathing techniques and yoga theory.
Intermediate/Experienced Level Yoga
In private Intermediate/Experienced Level Yoga yoga sessions, the pace becomes slightly more dynamic, tailored specifically to your individual needs and progress. Building upon the breath awareness and mindful movement, these classes provide more detailed guidance and introduce preparatory asanas for intermediate and advanced poses. The elements of these challenging poses are explored in-depth, with personalised adjustments and modifications to suit your body and practice level. Additionally, I offer a customised introduction to pranayama (breath work) and meditation, integrating these practices seamlessly into your yoga journey for a more holistic experience.
Restorative Yoga
The yoga of rest. In restorative yoga classes, poses are held for up to eight minutes supported entirely by the props to promote deep relaxation to calm the nervous system and drop out of the stress response.
Yin Yoga
Slow-paced, mindful movement yin yoga classes help to stimulate fascia, the connective tissue between your bones, muscles and organs, to help you connect with your body, release tension, and deepen relaxation.
Chair yoga/Gentle yoga
Yoga classes taught from a chair or completely on the floor. Great for seniors, people with mobility issues, injuries, or absolute beginners.
One-off lessons, as well as, regular weekly sessions are possible. The length of class can range from 60 to 75 minutes. Each class is tailored to your needs, with clear verbal instruction, demonstrations and optional hands-on adjustments.
