About Kathleen
"Growing up immersed in folk music meant I learned how to sing by listening to the people around me. My BA in Folk Music from Berea College gave me a deep appreciation for the way songs are passed down through generations.
I spent 13 years finding my own voice through imitation and ornamentation. These days, I help students navigate stage fear management and belting technique. We also focus on diction and articulation to ensure your words land clearly in any genre.
Whether you want to sing pop, classical, or musical theater, we will refine your rhythm and phrasing. Sight singing is a tool that brings a lot of freedom to your practice. Feel free to reach out if you want to chat about your voice."
