About Bukky

Hi, I'm Bukky, a passionate Sewing, Fashion Design and Creative Skills Tutor with over 15 years' experience creating beautiful handmade pieces and helping others discover their creativity.
I teach children, teenagers and adults how to confidently use a sewing machine, understand fabrics, create patterns, and make their own projects from start to finish.
Over the years, I have helped complete beginners progress from their first stitch to making items such as tote bags, cushion covers, clothing, accessories and their own creative designs.
My lessons are patient, friendly and practical. I believe everyone learns differently, so I tailor each session to your ability, goals and pace.
Whether you want to learn sewing as a hobby, build confidence, make clothes for yourself and your family, or develop skills towards starting a small creative business, I will guide you step by step.

About the lesson

My lessons are practical, creative and personalised to each student.
You can learn:
-Sewing machine skills
️ -Pattern drafting
-Dressmaking & garment construction
-Bag making
🪡 Alterations & finishing techniques
-Jewellery making & creative crafts
For beginners, we start with machine confidence, threading, stitching, and simple projects before progressing into more advanced designs.
For intermediate learners, we focus on improving techniques, professional finishing, garment making, and creating products you can be proud of.
I also support creative learners who want to turn their skills into a small business by discussing product ideas, branding and presentation.
Lessons are relaxed, encouraging and designed to help you enjoy the creative process.

Special Offer for In-Person Students
Students attending lessons at my creative space will receive complimentary starter fabrics for selected projects, so you can begin sewing and creating with confidence.
Lessons are available online or from my creative space in Aylesbury where students can access sewing resources, fabrics and practical support.
