About Paris
My passion for sewing and creating began when my grandmother passed down her love for it. I fell in love with sewing because you can create any idea in a variety of ways. It blends technical skill with creative thinking, and every project is one of a kind.
I have experience in hand and machine sewing, embroidery, beading, painting and dyeing fabric, pattern making, tailoring clothes, screen printing, mask and prosthetic making, crochet, and more.
In my lessons I focus on building confidence in foundational skills first. Sewing can be intimidating, but with guidance and practice it quickly becomes rewarding. I break down each step so the process feels manageable, never overwhelming. I believe everyone can learn to sew with the right support!

I graduated from UNCW with a B.F.A in costume design, and been sewing for more than 10 years. I’m passionate about fiber arts, and love sharing my skills and knowledge with others.
I teach a wide range of skills, from beginner friendly sewing basics to more advanced techniques like pattern drafting. I can even help with specialty projects as I have experience in all kinds of non-sewing art.
My lessons are hands on, tailored to your goals, and welcome to all. Whether you want to upcycle clothes, design your own pieces, or try something fun like costume creation, I’ve got you covered!
