About Kripee
Hi! I'm a third-year Molecular Biology and Biochemistry student at Simon Fraser University, where I've maintained a 3.90 GPA and earned a spot on the Dean's Honor Roll. Biology, genetics, and chemistry are genuinely my favorite subjects, and I love helping other students find that same "oh, now it makes sense!" moment.
Because I recently took these courses myself, the material is fresh and I still remember exactly where students tend to get stuck. I'm patient, friendly, and approachable, and I care more about you truly understanding the material than just getting through it. Whether you're preparing for an exam, catching up, or building a stronger foundation, I'd love to help you feel confident with the material.
Outside of tutoring, I volunteer in a research lab and at my local hospital, so I know how to show up reliably and communicate clearly. I look forward to working with you!

My teaching starts from one belief: in biology and the sciences, everything rests on understanding the concept first, not memorizing chunks of information. Once the core idea genuinely clicks, everything built on top of it makes sense, so I focus on making that foundation solid before layering on detail and practice.
A typical lesson looks like this. I start with a short introduction to the topic, then build from what you already know, one step at a time, almost like drawing a flowchart where each idea connects to the next. Near the end, we work through practice questions together, and I leave plenty of room for any doubts or things you want to revisit.
What sets me apart is that I don't just read off slides or teach topics in isolation. Science has so many pieces, but the magic is when you connect them and it all comes together. A teacher once did this for me. She would distill a whole complex topic down to just three core things, and then we would branch out from there. That approach stuck with me, and it's how I teach: take everything you're learning and show how it links into one connected picture.
My lessons are for high school and first-year university students in biology, genetics, molecular biology, chemistry, and math. I completed my own high schooling in India and have a strong foundation across the sciences. I'm happy to work with your specific curriculum, so we can tailor sessions to exactly what you're studying.
