About Fyodor
I’m a current freshman at Brooklyn Technical High School — one of NYC’s most competitive specialized high schools — and I got here by mastering the SHSAT. I know exactly what it takes to score high on this test because I just did it.
I understand the SHSAT from the inside out: the tricky ELA passages, the math reasoning problems, the time pressure. I remember what it felt like to prep for it, which means I can explain strategies in a way that actually makes sense to a 7th or 8th grader — not just recite formulas.

My lessons are built around how the SHSAT actually works.
As a freshman at Brooklyn Technical High School — one of NYC’s top specialized high schools — I scored highly on the SHSAT and know exactly what the test demands. My sessions focus on the two areas that make or break most students’ scores: math and timing.
On the math side, we’ll work through the algebra, logic, and problem-solving question types that appear most frequently on the test. I break down each problem type into clear, repeatable steps so students know exactly how to approach it when they see it on test day.
