About Tamila
Technique involves focus on posture and hand position, ear training, and sight transposition. Pop and contemporary styles define my approach to piano.
These methods build strong accompaniment skills and sight playing abilities. Teaching music is a joy for me because I get to see people connect with the keys. Over 13 years in the industry, I have seen many students choose to pair piano with guitar or vocals during our time together.

Sometimes it is tough to remember every note from a long practice session. I provide a short recorded playback of each session so students can review at home.
This allows for better retention. I use my background in the Nashville and LA circuits to keep things practical. My 6 years of working in bands shape how I demonstrate tools for demos. The experience keeps the mood light.
