About Linda
Learning math doesn't have to be treacherous. I believe you can have fun and learn at the same time. Every student has a different way of learning, so it is important to employ a variety of different teaching approaches using different mediums to help my students (i.e. visual, auditory, tactile, etc.). I truly enjoy working with kids and am invested in establishing a good rapport with my students/parents/fellow educators and in creating an environment where students feel safe and comfortable to ask questions.

As a sequential thinker, I provide my students with printouts of each lesson. Each example is worked through together with step-by-step instructions to provide an easy-to-follow guide to solving problems. When possible, I use manipulatives to help reinforce the concept being taught. Great effort is also invested in connecting the math concepts to real world application.
