About Marcus

Hi, I’m Marcus. I’ve been consistently training for over 4 years, combining gym workouts with an active sports background in competitive swimming and dragon boating. Alongside this, I’ve managed to maintain an active fitness routine throughout a busy university lifestyle, which has shaped my practical understanding of staying fit despite time constraints.

Fitness, for me, is not about extreme routines or short-term transformations—it’s about building something that fits into your life and lasts. This is the approach I bring into my coaching.

I focus on simple, sustainable, and seamless training methods that help people stay consistent without feeling overwhelmed. My goal is to make fitness approachable, efficient, and enjoyable, especially for those juggling work, school, or family commitments.

I enjoy working with beginners and busy individuals who want a clear, no-fuss approach to getting stronger, healthier, and more confident—without complicated programs or unrealistic expectations.

My approach to personal training is built around simplicity, sustainability, and long-term adherence. I focus on helping clients build a fitness routine that fits naturally into their lifestyle, rather than forcing overly complex or unsustainable programs.

Techniques and Training Methodology:

Clear, structured workout plans based on individual goals and fitness levels
Focus on fundamental, low-risk compound movements and efficient exercises
Progressive overload applied in a simple and manageable way
Emphasis on proper form and injury prevention
Lifestyle-based adjustments (time, workload, recovery capacity)
Education on how to train independently over time, not just during sessions

My goal is not just to guide workouts, but to help clients understand how and why they are training, so they can eventually maintain their progress independently.

Typical Session Length:
Each session is typically 60 minutes, which includes warm-up, main training, and brief guidance on form, progression, or programming. Sessions are kept efficient and focused to fit into busy schedules.

Sessions can be stacked and modified to fit your schedule. (Example: 2 sessions back to back for a 2-hour session or 90 minute sessions)

Experience / Background:
I have over 4 years of consistent gym training experience, alongside an active sports background including competitive swimming and dragon boating. I have also balanced training with a demanding university schedule, which shapes my understanding of realistic and sustainable fitness habits.

My training is designed for:

Individual sessions: $35 per session
Package 1: 5 sessions – $160
Package 2: 8 sessions – $250
Package 3: 10 sessions - $300

Session length can be customized and a special price can be agreed upon for special customized programs.
