Methodology
Although I am very fluent in music theory and would be happy to work with students on that type of music comprehension, I prefer a much more organic approach where students find what they truly love about the music and then we focus on those aspects to set a sturdy foundation of appreciation that can later be built on with higher levels of theory and ear training.
Background
I am a singer/songwriter, audio engineer and actress who has been performing for over a decade. I began my professional career in film and later found true joy in theater: where I had the pleasure of working on numerous off Broadway productions in New York. I also spent my time working as a singer/songwriter and performed in various venues and festivals across the country.
