About De Ana
De Ana Abinante boasts over 20 years of stage experience, worship leading, and musical instruction. Her inspirational acoustic-rock/soul/jazz compositions have been showcased extensively across Los Angeles, the West Coast, and internationally. As a passionate singer/songwriter, musician, teacher, and native of Los Angeles, De Ana is dedicated to inspiring young people to pursue their dreams and overcome life's challenges.
Specializing in helping faith-based artists and singers "untrap" their voices, she empowers the next generation through teaching voice, piano, and other instruments at Voice Activated to become fully confident and unstoppable voices for the Kingdom, both on and off the stage.
De Ana holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies as a Vocalist from California State University Northridge. She also has extensive training in Bel Canto Classical Technique as well as theater acting, singing, and auditioning. Currently traveling around the United States, De Ana brings a new sound and soul piercing music to churches, conferences, and the marketplace, aiming to bring in the Kingdom of heaven and to uplift and active audiences wherever she goes.

A Typical Lesson Plan:
Initial Assessment:
- Start with an intake form to assess your goals.
Complimentary Lesson:
- Helps determine your starting point.
Customized Plan Creation:
Goal Setting:
- Create a personalized plan by setting tangible milestones for 3 months, 6 months, and beyond.
Lesson Scheduling:
8-Week Blocks:
- Lessons are scheduled in 8-week block commitments.
Tuition Payment:
- Paid in advance every 4 weeks, with a 10% discount for full 8-week payments.
Flexibility:
Missed Lessons:
- Deferred if due to sickness or emergencies.
Last-Minute Missed Lessons:
- 2 grace lessons are extended for last-minute reschedules; student's responsibility to reschedule before the next scheduled lesson.

Who the Lessons Are For:
My lessons are tailored for worship leaders and singers who are currently singing or aspiring to lead, but are facing challenges with confidence and/or execution. I also assist those looking to reduce vocal strain, increase projection with ease, and enhance vocal comfort. Additionally, I offer guidance in pitch, harmony, and improving vocal timbre. Vocal training includes genres in CCM, Gospel, sacred choral/classical music, and even music in Spanish.

Details
For younger students I offer half-hour lessons at $45/hr.
I recommend for most adult/teen students starting out with 1 hr/week.
Tuition is paid every 4 weeks at the beginning of the month.
