About Kayla
Graduating from the Curtis Institute of Music gave me a Master of Music in Vocal Studies that grounds my practice. My studio walls resonate with the sounds of 13 years spent teaching voice. I treat singing as a demanding physical discipline. I do not deal in fluff.
Beginners and intermediate learners find my directness refreshing. I aim to help you achieve measurable results.

Technique serves as the architecture for every great performance. Imagine the sensation of air moving efficiently through your diaphragm without restriction. I demand precision in rhythm and phrasing for pop, classical, and musical theatre genres.
We incorporate microphone technique, vocal health, and breathing control to build your capacity. You will manage head and chest voice transitions while gaining total control over vibrato. Performance confidence grows when the underlying mechanics are sound. I provide 13 years of experience to solve your technical blocks during our time together.
We review your performance recordings each month to track progress. Expect rigorous feedback on exam preparation and belting technique. You will improve.
