About Joellen
Nervous beginners often arrive at my studio feeling quite overwhelmed by the process. I admit that even the simplest vocal warm-up can feel daunting when you are just starting out. Over 13 years, I have taught many people to find their voice.
My Master of Music in Vocal Studies from the Royal Academy of Music guides my technical approach to sight singing and harmony singing. I help with stage fear management, tone and resonance, and diction. We also cover vibrato control, exam preparation, and performance confidence.

A tight throat often prevents the sound from ringing clearly through the room. I use my 13 years of teaching to help you relax the muscles used for singing.
Holding a Master of Music from the Royal Academy of Music, I focus on the basics of breath and support. I offer a free trial lesson to check your vocal range and goals.
This initial meeting allows us to determine your current level and establish a roadmap. We spend this time ensuring you feel comfortable before we begin formal exercises. I also provide an 8.0 out of 10 rating for student progress tracking. You can expect a structured environment where your voice has the space to grow naturally.
