About Amy
I incorporate your personal taste into every vocal exercise we practice. Performance recordings are reviewed together each month to track your progress and celebrate your growth. My 7 years of experience in the industry help me provide actionable feedback on rhythm and phrasing. I find that breaking down harmony singing makes the most complex arrangements feel reachable.

Working with kids and adults often reveals how much stage fear can hold back even the most talented singers. I started my musical path as a self-taught guitarist in Mexico, which taught me how to listen to the blend of melody and harmony.
After 20 years of performing Latin pop and Tex-Mex, I moved to the US to share these lessons. Breathing control and diction are the base of my teaching philosophy.
I emphasize articulation so that your message carries through every performance. Microphone technique is another area where I help students feel at home on a stage. I want to ensure you feel secure in your ability to handle any room. We will work together to prepare you for the goals you have set for yourself.
