About Kathleen
Nashville session work is how I spent 13 years of my life. The studio demands total precision. My vocal training focuses on real world application. Pitch control and breathing are my main priorities.
I teach rhythm and phrasing to keep your voice in the pocket. You will learn to use microphone technique like a pro. Vibrato and resonance come naturally with my specific drills.

Singing feels best when the voice works as a single instrument alongside your guitar. Because I spent 13 years playing sessions, I know that tone and resonance are the foundation of any hit. We focus on belting technique and sight singing to ensure you handle any challenge with ease. Kids and adults alike enjoy how harmony singing adds layers to their performance.
Since I have taught 191 students, I know how to keep the energy high during each hour. You receive recorded warm-up routines for daily home practice to keep your cords healthy. Teens often ask about how to record their voices, so we cover that as well.
